Philosophy of Care

As a renal pathologist, my primary responsibility is to give a timely and correct report of the patient's kidney biopsy (that may have been ordered by a nephrologist or rheumatologist) which is so vital for the optimal management of the patient's kidney disease.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Gupta is a renal pathologist with expertise in the diagnosis of diseases of both native and allograft kidneys. He has special interests in lupus nephritis, monoclonal kidney diseases, electron microscopy and transplant pathology.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Gupta's research interests include - monoclonal kidney disease, COVID-associated kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, onconephrology, IgG4-related sieases and immunoelectron microscopy.
