Dr. Hamline believes that caring for the health of children is a team effort, involving the child, his/her family, and the entire health care team. She strives to provide high quality, compassionate care for every child, taking into account the unique needs of each child and their families.
Dr. Hamline is a Pediatric Hospitalist offering care for children with various medical conditions when they need to be hospitalized, either at our Children’s Hospital or with our community affiliate Lodi Memorial Hospital. She has a special clinical interest in improving processes of care and has expertise in quality improvement, patient safety, and health services research.
Dr. Hamline’s research is centered around evaluating processes of care and designing targeted interventions to improve pediatric care in a hospital setting. Her main areas of interest include care transitions, family-centered care, and care pathways. She has expertise in quality improvement, implementation science, and health services research.
