All 20 units must be completed in order to receive the minor certification. For the minor to be awarded, the OASIS Minor Declaration Form must be approved prior to graduation. The Minor Declaration form will only be approved after the student is enrolled in the final course for the minor. Please view instructions on how to submit the petition below.

You should file your minor petition when you have taken or are registered for all the classes you need to fulfill the minor requirements. Usually, this is the beginning of the quarter you plan to graduate. To file your petition: Go to oasis, click "forms & petitions", Click submit a new form, click minor declaration, fill out the information, note any classes that overlap with your major or other special circumstances in the comments.

All core courses have to be completed with a letter grade with the exception of SPH 190 (P/NP grade option). Elective courses can be taken for a letter grade or P/NP. Only one lower division course can be used. Please see any university restrictions related to P/NP grading: P/NP or S/U Grading | Office of the University Registrar (OUR) ( .
