The volunteer clinical professors for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UC Davis is made up of experienced psychologists and physicians from the medical community in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UC Davis is committed to promoting world class mental health services that help patients and families live their lives more fully. Our four key mission areas — patient care, training and education, research and community engagement — actively support this commitment.

Our faculty and trainees provide mental health services at a multiple locations throughout the greater Sacramento area and a number of our faculty conduct research at sites throughout Northern California. We offer three accredited psychiatry residency training programs and support several fellowships.
