How to Apply
To apply, you should first contact your medical school Dean’s office to access the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) web-based application. The deadline for receipt of all application materials is generally in November.
Match 2027: Two PGY-2 position to begin July 1, 2028
Required application materials include:
- Common Application Form
- Personal Statement
- Medical School Transcripts
- USMLE Scores
- ECFGM Report (foreign medical graduates only)
- Three Letters of Recommendation
- Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE / Dean’s Letter)
Our program participates in the National Resident Match Program (NRMP).
Interview process
The radiation oncology residency program uses the Thalamus platform to communicate with invited candidates and to also schedule in-person interviews. Our interview dates are: December 2, December 11, 2026 and January 14, 2027. A meet and greet dinner social with our residents will be offered to available candidates the evening prior to the interview date.
In-person Interview Day Information
Candidates will receive a Thalamus interview confirmation with the interview day schedule. The interview day will begin with a light continental breakfast and lunch provided. Each candidate may be assigned up to eight 15-minute interview sessions with a five-minute break between interviews. Candidates will have an opportunity to meet with internal department personnel, including but not limited to faculty, staff, and residents. The schedule will include opening/closing remarks with the program director along with a resident led program presentation with time for Q and A.
Candidates can expect to have a full day schedule from 8am to 4pm. The total time is subject to change based on the number of candidates and available faculty.
