Our residency program provides integrated clinical, surgical and research training designed to build the expertise, confidence and leadership skills needed to excel in the evolving field of urology. Through hands-on experience, mentorship and innovative research opportunities, residents develop the comprehensive foundation needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

The UC Davis School of Medicine offers a four-year, comprehensive curriculum leading to a medical degree. The first two years emphasize basic and preclinical sciences, while the final two years focus on hands-on clinical experience. As part of the curriculum, medical students have the opportunity to take a dedicated course in urology, gaining exposure to this specialized field early in their training.

Our educational conferences and grand rounds provide opportunities to engage in collaborative learning, discuss complex cases and explore the latest advances in patient care, surgical techniques and research. These interactive sessions foster critical thinking, mentorship and lifelong learning in a dynamic academic environment.
