We offer a robust series of educational conferences designed to foster collaboration, advance clinical knowledge and support lifelong learning in urology. These conferences provide opportunities to engage with leading experts, discuss complex cases, review emerging research and explore the latest innovations in patient care. Through journal discussions, guest lectures, case reviews and Urology Grand Rounds, participants gain valuable insights into current trends and best practices shaping the field of urology.
Our educational conferences are open to UC Davis residents, UC Davis faculty, Kaiser Permanente faculty and local community physicians.
This conference is held once a month on the first Tuesday of each month from 7:30–9 a.m. Articles chosen by the faculty are reviewed by the residents and discussed in an open forum.
This special conference for guest speakers is held once a month on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30–9 a.m. It consists of a presentation by either a speaker who is external to UC Davis or a UC Davis faculty member.
This conference is held once a month on the third Tuesday of each month from 7:30–9 a.m. This forum is a unique opportunity to learn about the latest urologic treatments and leading-edge research, while also engaging in presentations and discussions focused on complications encountered during surgical cases.
Every Tuesday morning, faculty, residents and community physicians gather at UC Davis Health for Urology Grand Rounds. A broad range of topics are discussed at each meeting. This forum is an opportunity to learn about the latest treatments and innovative research in urology. Accreditation for 1.5 hours of Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) is available.
