Dr. Rothschild’s philosophy of care is to educate her patients so they fully understand the breadth of their diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Rothschild believes in including patients in the decision making process with detailed discussions about the expectations they seek.
Dr. Rothschild specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urinary incontinence, neuro-urology, and urethral stricture disease. Her surgical expertise includes lower urinary tract reconstruction, urethroplasty, and prosthetic surgery, such as artificial urinary sphincters for post-prostatectomy male stress urinary incontinence. Dr. Rothschild is skilled in cystoscopy and multichannel urodynamic evaluation and provides therapies for medicine refractory overactive bladder. Dr. Rothschild also manages patients who may need complex genitourinary reconstruction including urinary fistula repair or have transvaginal mesh complications.
Dr. Rothschild is interested in research pertaining to urinary incontinence. Her academic interests include medical student education and is the Director of Medical Student Education. She is also the Specialty Advisor within the Department of Urologic Surgery.
