Make a donation to UC Davis Children's Hospital

Thank you for your interest in donating to support our pediatric patients and their families. The toys, gift cards and other gifts provide support for our patients during their hospitalization. Gifts are used in various places throughout the hospital, including the pediatric play spaces, teen lounge, pediatric emergency department, radiology, waiting areas and admitting.

Donation guidelines for Child Life

Donation guidelines for Child Life

Your donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated!

Due to infection control and allergen guidelines for all patients, we cannot accept previously owned items. This includes stuffed animals and toys that have only been on display or part of private collections.

Make your donation count! All items donated are inspected prior to distribution to our patients! Items that don't meet our guidelines will be redirected to another charity.

Please complete our donor intent gift form and bring it with you when you drop off your donation.

To schedule a time to drop-off donations, please contact our programming coordinator Katherine MacDonald at 916-734-5510. Please note that donors cannot deliver directly to our pediatric patients. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently accepting curbside drop-off only. Donors are unable to come into the hospital lobby at this time.

Our Facility Dog Program

Huggie the facility dogYour gift to the UC Davis Children’s Hospital facility dog program will help support the care of our facility dogs, Huggie, Paloma, ZeeBee and Danny.

Your donations will help pay for their medical care, food, grooming, supplements and supplies to keep them healthy, happy and ready to support our kids in need.

Your gifts will also help us maintain and expand the facility dog program, as we plan to add another facility dog in the future. Donate to the Facility Dog Fund.
