Dominique Ritley provides health policy analysis and project management to CHPR research teams studying health care quality measurement and health policy. Current projects include managing the CHPR analytic team for the Cal Long Term Compare website, managing NIH and U.S. DOJ research projects regarding opioid use, treatment, and prevention (including the CA Bridge Project). Recent project management and research efforts included supporting public reporting of California heart by-pass surgery outcomes and health plan quality outcomes; analyzing prescription drug pricing policies; studying causal and mitigating factors of homelessness; and conducting a rapid evidence review about the built environment effects on healthy aging.

As the UC Davis team coordinator for the California Health Benefits Review Program (CHBRP), Dominique works with her colleagues to provide medical effectiveness and public health impact analyses of health insurance legislation for the California State Legislature. She has co-authored more than 35 CHBRP reports on topics such as autism, telehealth, doulas, continuous glucose monitors, pediatric hearing aids, violence prevention services, and substance use disorder. Dominique also co-directs, with Dr. Richard Kravitz, the California State Policy Evidence Consortium, which responds to state legislative committee requests for non-partisan, evidence-based reports about committee topics of interest. Prior to joining CHPR in 2006, Dominique supported the health policy office of the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Law and Pension Committee chaired by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, followed by a position at The Zitter Group where she researched the burgeoning development and application of pharmacoeconomic research in the pharmaceutical industry.
