Rebecca Hsieh is a senior health communication designer and strategist at the UC Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research (CHPR). She joined CHPR in 2018 and supports the California Quits program and other center initiatives through communication strategy, research translation, and systems-level content development.
Rebecca leads the development and design of communication frameworks across web, print, and digital platforms, with expertise in information architecture, accessibility, health literacy, and institutional branding. Her work translates complex research and policy evidence into clear, actionable communication that helps clinicians, researchers, policymakers, health systems, and community partners understand and apply findings in real-world settings.
She brings a strong clinical foundation as a Registered Dietitian, with prior experience in hospital, outpatient, and public health environments. Before joining CHPR, she worked with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department’s communications team, supporting countywide initiatives through visual and plain-language communication.
