The employee registration process requiring deposits has changed slightly.

  2. Call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit information to confirm your seat in the class.

Course description

This course will cover the basics of neonatal imaging modalities including portable x-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, with particular emphasis on the neonatal chest/abdomen (babygram) x-ray. We will correlate imaging findings to clinical case scenarios, highlighting topics that are particularly meaningful to the NICU nurse. Is that central line in good placement? Is that ETT too deep? What does pneumatosis look like? We will answer these questions and more!

Virtual session requirements

Follow the virtual participation guidelines, including being on camera, engaging in activities, and attesting to participation.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 5 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Registration

UC Davis Health employees

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund. Please register through UC Learning Center and call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit by credit card.

Registrations are approved only after your deposit is provided.

Community registrants

$38 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking

Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 22, 22 Auxiliary, 30, 30 Auxiliary, Broadway, EDD, and DOJ with either a B permit or daily permit.
