Objectives
HEAL will support the professional development of health educators in the following impact areas:
- By contributing to a professional culture and community that enhances the experiences and careers of faculty educators and UC Davis Health.
- By developing a toolkit of evolving, evidence-based teaching strategies that can be used to respond to the broader landscapes of health science education.
- By creating an effective, inclusive, and mutually respectful learning climate for educators and learners.

The mission of HEAL is to equip a community of health sciences faculty with the skills, confidence, credibility, and knowledge to create effective experiences, employ evidence-based strategies, support educational scholarship, career advancement, and self-efficacy with a focus on impactful learning outcomes.
