Clinic relocations: Keep track as Ambulatory Operations adjusts on-site resources
This fall and winter, a few clinics will have new addresses. Whether it’s a couple neighborhoods over or just across the hall, the updates should improve care efficiency and clinical services.
The moves are also an opportunity to provide extended resources to patients.
Point West clinic moves to Midtown location
The Point West Integrative Medicine, Dietary, and Behavioral Health Clinic will relocate from its existing location on River Park Drive to the Midtown clinic at 3160 Folsom Blvd, Suite 1400.
The clinic will open its doors in Midtown on December 16.
Benefits of the new location include:
- Same physicians plus a wider range of health services
- Laboratory and Radiology services on site
- Closer to the Medical Center campus
- Free covered parking or complimentary valet service
- More accessible to public transportation
- 24-hour security on site
Campus Commons clinic moves to Midtown location
The Campus Commons Primary Care and Post Discharge Clinic also relocated from its existing location on University Avenue to the Midtown clinic at 3160 Folsom Blvd, Suite 1400. The new name of the clinic is Midtown Commons Primary Care.
The clinic opened its doors in Midtown on September 23.
“Our clinic will continue to offer excellent patient-centered primary care for both adults and children in a location that offers a wider range of conveniences and specialties,” said Ambulatory Administrative Manager Thu Tran. The Midtown building also houses Neurology, Sleep Lab, Gastroenterology, Integrative Medicine and Healthy Aging services.
The new space would not be possible without the cooperation of the Healthy Aging clinic, which relocated from the east side of Suite 1400 to the west side of the same suite.
Neurology expands services to Campus Commons
In addition to the Neurology Clinic at Midtown, a second Neurology clinic location will open at Campus Commons.
Key milestones:
- Pediatric Neurology is now live at Campus Commons, in a space designed with pediatric patients in mind, marking a significant augmentation of services.
- Sleep Medicine, with providers from both the Departments of Neurology and Pulmonology, officially moved on November 4.
- Cognitive Neurology and Neuropsychiatry will also transition from Healthy Aging to the new location at Campus Commons the first week of December.
The overall goal of these changes is to improve the patient experience by offering more access to services and ensuring a smoother, more streamlined clinical journey for everyone. This expansion represents a significant step forward, in terms of enhancing patient care and optimizing operations.
