Applications sought for Children's Miracle Network grants
Applications are now being accepted for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) grants. CMN is the fundraising arm of UC Davis Children’s Hospital.

Any UC Davis faculty or staff member may apply for grant funding for clinical and research programs. The primary focus of proposed projects must be directly improving the health and welfare of children, particularly those served by UC Davis Children’s Hospital. The grants are for two years and employees cannot request more than $100,000 (maximum total for two years).
The deadline to submit an application is Friday, September 19, 2025 at 5 p.m. There will be no exceptions to this deadline.
Applications must be completed and submitted as one PDF file to ucdaviscmngrant@health.ucdavis.edu. All pages should be numbered in sequence starting with the signature page of the application. No applications will be accepted as hard copies.
In addition, two grant application workshops will be held via Zoom to assist applicants:
- August 20 from 12-1 p.m.
- August 22 from 12-1 p.m.

Timeline and deadlines
The CMN fiscal year funding 2025-2026 timeline is as follows:
- Through Sept. 19, 2025 at 5 p.m.: Applications are accepted. For grant applications, go to https://health.ucdavis.edu/children/childrens-miracle-network/grants.
- October 2025: CMN grants are reviewed and recommended for funding.
- November 2025: The CMN Executive Committee will decide funding for FY 2025/2026.
- December 2025: Letters on funding decisions will be sent to applicants for FY 2025/2026.
- January 1, 2026: CMN grant funds available.

The mission of Children’s Miracle Network at UC Davis Children’s Hospital is to improve the health and well-being of children by supporting a coordinated program of patient care, research and education of patients, families, faculty physicians, nurses, other health care workers and the public. CMN implements this mission by disbursing collected donations in the form of grants, awards and program development.
