Celebrating Women’s History Month: Who inspires you?

March is Women’s History Month.

Whether it be personal, professional or historical, women across the centuries have inspired us in many ways – to be brave, kind, strong, resilient, wise, rebellious, reflective, and so much more.

UC Davis Health community members are invited to share a woman who has made a meaningful impact in their life.

How to participate

  • Name one woman you admire and explain why in two or three sentences. The role model can be past or present, personal, professional, or historical.
  • If possible, please include a photo or image of the woman you’ve chosen to honor and celebrate.
  • Provide your full name, work title, and department.
  • Submit your description and image to hs-socialmedia@ucdavis.edu before noon, Monday, March 3.

Pictures and quotes shared will be published on The Insider and UC Davis Health's social media channels.
