Construction activity: 2nd Avenue lane decrease between 45th and 48th Streets

On Thursday, June 19, the Central Utility Plant Expansion (CUPx) team will perform utility work on 2nd Avenue between 45th Street and 48th Street in the east and westbound lanes. This will restrict access to one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please note the following details of this activity:

• The team will begin in the eastbound lane with a flagger at the westbound lane to direct two-way traffic.

• Once this work is complete, the eastbound lane will open to two-way traffic with flaggers in place, and the westbound lane will be closed.

• Minimal traffic delays are expected, and no parking or pedestrian impacts are expected.
