Construction activity: 2nd Avenue north lane impacts

Wednesday, Aug. 13, through Friday, Sept. 26, the Central Utility Plant expansion (CUPx) team will be performing work in the northernmost westbound lane, including the adjacent sidewalk at 2nd Avenue between 45th and 48th Streets in preparation for the new PS6 drive intersection.

Please note the following details of the activity:

• For safety reasons, nine stalls in Lot 17 that are adjacent to the impacted area will be fenced off for the duration of work.

• The westbound bike lane will merge with traffic. Minimal vehicular traffic delays expected.

• Pedestrians will be rerouted to the sidewalk on the southside of 2nd Avenue.

• Service Drive will remain open.
