Construction Update: X Street west-bound lane closures take effect Nov. 23

(SACRAMENTO)

Beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 23, the west-bound lanes of X Street will close to facilitate underground utility work. These lanes will remain closed for approximately six months.

Shuttle traffic will be re-routed to 45th Street and 2nd Avenue, along with any vehicle traffic traveling from X Street towards Stockton Blvd, beginning at the 45th Street intersection.

No eastbound lanes will be affected, allowing normal travel to continue to the Emergency Department and Comprehensive Cancer Center.

This work is being done to support construction of the California Tower, UC Davis Health’s $3.75 billion project. To learn more about the project, visit ucdhcatower.org.
