Evolv Detection System begins Nov. 3
UC Davis Medical Center will start using an Evolv Detection System on Nov. 3.
It will be installed in the Pavilion Lobby’s main entrance, enhancing the ability to detect potential threats while ensuring a smooth and efficient entry experience. The Evolv system will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As of Nov. 3, all individuals entering the Pavilion main lobby, including patients, visitors and vendors, will be required to pass through the Evolv system. This enhancement ensures that everyone entering our facility benefits from a consistent and reliable layer of safety screening.
We understand these updates may require some adjustment. However, these measures reflect our leadership’s strong commitment to fostering a secure environment for all who work, visit and receive care at UC Davis Health. The implementation of Evolv is also informed by feedback from staff and insights gathered through recent safety and experience surveys.
The Evolv system represents a substantial investment in campus safety, reinforcing UC Davis Health’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
