The Microsoft 365 (M365) Migration team wanted to thank everyone for your patience in riding out the bumps with us. We know it’s been a long time coming, but we are excited to say the end is in sight. The majority of all the migrations are scheduled to be completed by June 30, with a few exceptions. Here’s what you need to know.

M365 Migration Issues – ServiceNow Self-Service

Timeline and remaining groups:

  • Completion of migration targeted for June 30
  • No migrations June 19 – Juneteenth holiday!
  • Some of the groups that will be migrated between now and June 30 include:
    • Remaining senior Executives and their teams
    • School of Nursing
    • School of Medicine
    • Faculty who were missed on the first pass

Other updates

  • Conference rooms at the Health Administration Building (HAS) in Rancho Cordova have been migrated. More conference rooms will be migrated soon!
  • Teams channels that were migrated have been locked down to read-only on the Campus side. These channels can be accessed, updated, and used as usual on the Health side.

Should I Update My Email Address Anywhere?

Please do not update your email address in the Online Directory or any other application, unless specifically instructed to by IT. Over time, applications will be migrated. When applications are migrated, email addresses will be updated in bulk by IT. For most applications, no action will be needed by individuals.
