Microsoft 365 migration accelerated: What you need to know
Dear Colleagues,
The Microsoft 365 (M365) Migration team has successfully transitioned more than 6,000 users. With substantial progress underway, we’re accelerating the project timeline — the new target completion date is June 30.
We understand this transition has presented challenges, especially for users navigating old and new environments. By completing the migration sooner, we aim to reduce this friction and improve your day-to-day experience.
Get Ready for the Migration
To help you prepare, please review the following resources:
For Users with Dual Appointments (Health + Campus)
If you need your Campus email account for business purposes, please submit a ServiceNow Self-Service ticket to the M365 team to request it. Please note that this will result in you having to carefully navigate two email boxes, including taking responsibility for ensuring that PHI remains in the Health mailbox only.

Should I Update My Email Address Anywhere?
No. Please do not update your email address to your new @health.ucdavis.edu in the Online Directory or any other application. The Online Directory data and many other data repositories flow into other systems. Changing your email address to @health.ucdavis.edu in these systems may cause problems with access to other systems and applications.
