Allen Hall, M.D.

Medical Director, Community Physicians Group

Allen Hall, M.D., is a primary care physician and medical director for UC Davis Health’s Community Physicians Group. He facilitates the delivery of high-quality, complex care to a large patient panel in the outpatient setting. Family practice enables Dr. Hall to establish long-term relationships with patients of all ages. He is a fierce advocate of preventive medicine and aggressive disease-treatment to protect good health.  

As medical director, Dr. Hall oversees a team of 120 physicians and staff for UC Davis Health’s primary care practices. He helped implement a physician onboarding and coaching program to improve physician wellbeing and retention and uphold a culture of collegial support. As associate medical director, he partnered with Sacramento County Public Health to coordinate community outreach for COVID-19 testing in underserved communities. 

Besides his clinical work for UC Davis Health, Dr. Hall has sat on various committees, tackling issues from physician satisfaction to patient experience. He currently participates in the UC Davis Medical Group Executive Committee, Staff Executive Committee, Credentials and Privileges Committee, and represents UC Davis Health for the Medicare Accountable Care Organization board of directors.  

He recharges by spending time and creating new memories with his wife and kids.
