
The UC Davis School of Medicine is among the nation's leading medical schools in National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding, according to the latest Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research ranking. Its NIH funding — nearly $210 million — is a new record for the school.

UC Davis School of Medicine has been named as one of the top institutions in the country for training students to practice in primary care settings and is also a national leader in research and diversity according to the annual “Best Medical Schools” rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.
The nationally recognized expert in gun violence prevention and pioneer in the field of injury epidemiology was inducted into the National Academy of Medicine Oct. 18.
