The UC Davis School of Medicine is among the nation's leading medical schools in National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding, according to the latest Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research ranking. Its NIH funding — nearly $210 million — is a new record for the school.
UC Davis School of Medicine has been named as one of the top institutions in the country for training students to practice in primary care settings and is also a national leader in research and diversity according to the annual “Best Medical Schools” rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.
Researchers are working to better understand how people’s environments, social relations, life experiences and daily stresses affect heart health.
