Philosophy of Care

I believe optimal patient care can be achieved with mutual trust, diligence, combined with service excellence and expertise. Respect for others and humility have allowed me to learn from colleagues and importantly, from patients. Daily collaboration with nurses and physician specialists provide a comprehensive approach to high-quality patient care. I emphasize active communication between patients, families, and colleagues to ensure up-to-date information is conveyed effectively.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Alan Yee is a fellowship-trained Critical Care Neurologist offering specialty care to adults with stroke, cerebrovascular, and critical brain disease. He has special clinical interest in osteopathic manipulative medicine and stroke recovery.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Yee's scholarship interests focus on the impact of musculoskeletal health on quality-of-life among stroke survivors and the potential role of osteopathic manipulative medicine during stroke recovery. He has additional interest in medical curricula development for acute and emergency neurology education. His prior work focused on improving neurological prognostication in patients with critical brain disease.
