September 1, 2021
- Application through ERAS
- Personal statement
- Curriculum vitae
- Three current letters of recommendation (SNS Format)
- Medical school transcript
- Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE)
- Copy of test scores (USMLE, COMLEX)
- Valid ECFMG Certificate (if applicable)
Additional requirements for foreign medical graduates:
- Copy of valid ECFMG Certificate
- Satisfactory completion of Federal Licensing Examination (SPEX)
- Current PTAL "Authorization to Begin Postgraduate Training" from the Medical Board of California

September 29, 2021 - Applications released to programs
All completed files will be reviewed by the faculty of the Department of Neurological Surgery. Incomplete Files Will Not Be Reviewed.
September 30th – October 14th
Applications reviewed by the Resident Application Review Committee.
Mid October
Applicants will be notified of interviews. Due to limited space, some applicants may be put on a wait list.
December 7th & 14th – Virtual Interviews
