The UC Davis Pain Management Clinic offers a wide range of treatments for chronic pain, including oral medications, injections, minimally invasive procedures, more complex surgical treatments when advisable, and alternative therapies.   • Acupuncture
  • Basivertebral nerve ablation (which involves the use of radio frequency energy to destroy nerves that have grown into the vertebral body). Ablation effectively suspends communication from the painful vertebral body to the spinal cord and brain.
