Telehealth Services
UC Davis Pain Management Clinic has telehealth services available for the convenience of patients in distant locations who seek care for painful conditions.
The Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Health and Human Services have determined that chronic pain tends to be more prevalent in rural areas than in cities. Recognizing that our pain management clinic serves many individuals who live in the Sierra Nevada foothills and other communities that are distant from our facility, we have established telehealth services to reduce the travel burden for individuals living with painful conditions.
We encourage referring physicians to speak with our patient services representatives to learn more about how they can access our telehealth services on behalf of their patients.
