The UC Davis Pain Management Clinic makes financial counseling available to patients who are uninsured or underinsured. If you need to find ways to cover your medical expenses, we may be able to provide some assistance. We have resources to help you understand the extent of your insurance coverage, and we offer guidance on managing any out-of-pocket costs of pain management. We do so in order to ensure that financial concerns do not prevent you from accessing the care you need.
Our patient service representative can ask our estimating unit to tally your anticipated share of cost beforehand. Those estimates meet the criteria of the federal No Surprises Act to protect patients like you against unanticipated charges.
