Because of the specialized nature of our practice, the UC Davis Pain Management Clinic requires a physician referral prior to being accepted as a new patient.
Physicians who refer patients with pain can do so in complete confidence of knowing they will be under the best available care. Our team of dedicated, experienced specialists prioritizes comprehensive, compassionate, and innovative approaches to reduce discomfort and improve functionality. We value strong communication with referring physicians, and keep them informed of their patient’s progress so that they remain involved in decision-making processes.
How to Refer a Patient to Us
If you are a physician who would like to refer a patient to us or schedule a phone consultation, please call:

Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Returning Patient Appointments
If you are a returning patient, regardless of the location where you were last seen, you can schedule an appointment by calling the following centralized number:
