Fellows will work closely with PICU, pediatric cardiology and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery faculty throughout their fellowship. In addition, they will have broad multidisciplinary exposure to various subspecialty teams involved in the care of critically ill children.
The remainder of the training curriculum is dedicated to the pursuit of scholarly academic activity, including training programs in professionalism and research design.
The Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship is an ACGME-accredited three-year fellowship program that seeks to train leaders in the field of pediatric critical care. The fellowship provides clinical training in the acute management and coordination of care for critically ill pediatric patients.
Our fellowship provides the knowledge, skills and attitudes to prepare fellows to serve as educators and physician scientists who contribute to advances in the field of pediatric critical care medicine.
