The Division of Pediatric Cardiology evaluates and treats infants, children, and young adults with congenital and acquired heart disease, drawing on extensive resources, the latest in medical technology, and experts in cardiac surgery. Specialized services include echocardiography (including fetal, transesophageal, and intracardiac), exercise stress testing, electrophysiology testing with radiofrequency and cryoablation, and diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. All members of our division are actively involved in educational activities with undergraduate students, UC Davis medical students, visiting students, pediatric residents, veterinary medicine fellows and outreach primary care physicians. We are committed to creating a positive learning environment.

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology provides comprehensive, center-based care to children with congenital and acquired heart disease. The Pediatric Heart Center is multi-disciplinary with close cooperation between pediatric cardiologists, surgeons, critical care physicians, anesthesiologists, and nurses. We have created a team committed to outstanding patient outcomes for children with complex heart disease in a patient-centered environment.

Our faculty members see patients in the Sacramento area at the Glassrock Building on the campus of UC Davis Health and at the UC Davis Health clinics in Roseville and Auburn. We also schedule and hold monthly outreach clinics in Redding, Chico, Stockton and Marysville. To schedule an appointment at any of our clinics, please the Pediatric Heart Center at 916-734-3456.
