Our fellowships provide the opportunity to learn from highly skilled and welcoming faculty.

The department offers four fellowship programs and a doctoral internship. Fellows benefit from personal interaction with faculty and gain patient experience in a variety of clinical settings throughout the Sacramento region. Explore the fellowship training experience at a leading academic and research-based medical center where you will learn from highly trained physicians with clinical expertise in a number of specialty areas.

This two-year program provides fourth and fifth year residents with the clinical experience, knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for excellent psychiatric care to children and their families.

Our doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship programs provide advanced clinical child and adolescent psychology training at the Sacramento County Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (CAPS) Clinic.

This one-year fellowship prepares beginning psychiatrists to provide expert psychiatry consultation liaison services to culturally diverse medical and surgical patients in a variety of clinical settings.

Graduating residents in this 1-year program receive extensive exposure to a variety of criminal and civil forensic psychiatry experiences and will gain the skills to work in a variety of forensic settings, including with attorneys and courts.
