Clinical Interests

Dr. Olivia Briceño Contreras is a bilingual and bi-cultural clinical psychologist, with experience providing a range of direct clinical services in both English and Spanish to the under-served population of children, adolescents, and families between the ages of 0- 18 years. She is trained in various evidenced-based practices and believes in adjusting her treatment strategies to best serve the needs of the children and families she works with, through creating an empathetic and compassionately curious space. Dr. Contreras feels privileged to serve the families she works with, and is passionate about providing strength-based, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches to her clinical care.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Contreras research interests focus on improving treatment outcomes with children and adolescents through providing culturally informed care, family engagement and involvement in treatment, risk and resilience factors and early intervention treatment with young children.
