Philosophy of Care

I approach patient care collaboratively and respectfully. My focus is improving your health from a behavioral perspective and to better understand barriers to health improvement. I do my best to make patients feel safe in sharing any challenges in order to make a reasonable plan for their care. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Emmanuel Zamora is a licensed clinical psychologist who offers neuropsychological and bariatric pre-surgical evaluations, as well as brief psychotherapy. He evaluates patients for a number of neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Zamora’s professional interests include reducing health disparities, brief psychodynamic therapy, and Spanish language psychological assessment. He is a former adjunct clinical faculty member at the Wright Institute. He has experience in neuropsychological and personality assessment, forensics, adult psychotherapy, and child and family psychotherapy.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Zamora's research interests include Spanish language neuropsychological assessment, the impact of weight loss on cognition, diversity issues in psychology, and the integration of physical health with emotional wellbeing. He also has an interest in therapeutic approaches in brief or time-limited programs, such as bariatrics.
