Philosophy of Care
Thank you for taking the time to consider how my 15 years of clinical experience can help you at this time. My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults in family service agencies, schools, health clinics and psychiatric departments. Areas of focus include attachment issues, relationships, behavior concerns, academic and learning concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, parenting, self-esteem, grieving and healing after loss. I respect the importance of starting where my client is. I believe it is vital to establish an environment that promotes open communication. These efforts create practical, effective coping skills and interventions.
A pivotal factor in my work with clients, is to provide a safe non-judgmental environment that allows my clients to identify and clarify specific concerns & goals. As a therapist, I respect my clients’ personal values and beliefs. I feel privileged to be part of this therapeutic process.
