We host a quarterly Applied Research Symposia Series for UC Davis faculty, students and staff. Featuring leading health and health policy researchers, our symposia offer a unique opportunity to learn from research presentations and interactive discussions.
We host a Qualitative Research Discussion Group and Applied Methods Journal Club for UC Davis faculty, staff, and student researchers. Participants stay up-to-date on the latest research developments in a collaborative and engaging learning environment.

The UC Davis Center for Healthcare Policy and Research hosted four undergraduate students interested in health equity. The students interned at the Center from January through March 2024 as part of the Quarter at Aggie Square’s Advancing Health Care Equity experience.
More than 120 students, faculty, and staff attended the UC Davis Applied Public Health Research Day, hosted by the Center for Healthcare Policy and Research. They got the chance to learn and network with students and postdoctoral scholars who presented a variety of public health research projects and studies.
