UC Davis Health aims to strengthen and expand existing Human Resource efforts in this area including supporting robust community outreach in Anchor Institution Mission neighborhoods, partnering with local community colleges to increase pipeline programs and paid internship opportunities, and collaborating with local community based organizations and the City of Sacramento to increase our workforce from our Anchor communities.

Connect frontline workers to pathways for career advancement within the institution by:
- Offering job coaching and mentoring for new hires.
- Provide tuition assistance and advancement opportunities to support frontline employees gaining new skills.
- Train mid-managers and create accountability toward diversity, equity and inclusion goals.
- Partner with Los Rios Community College and community organizations to develop advancement programs.
