Institute of Accelerated Ascension

The Institute of Accelerated Ascension is an enlightening and empowering leadership coaching experience of personal growth and professional community for early career faculty to bring out the best qualities of themselves as leaders.

The program is conducted online, in a private and intimate group to promote community and belonging between faculty leaders with similar experiences and shared goals - accelerating their potential in healthcare leadership. Over six months, participants engage in bimonthly group sessions with thought-provoking conversations, 1:1 customized coaching sessions with a certified executive coach, and growth-work exercises to:

• Capitalize on Their Strengths
• Boost Emotional Intelligence
• Develop Leadership Skills
• Improve Wellness at Work...and earn continuing medical education units (CMEs)

Each module is uniquely designed to help UC Davis Health faculty become the leaders that they know they can be. Inclusive excellence is more than a catchphrase – it is an ideal worth pursuing and practicing over the course of a lifetime. Effective leaders need to be highly self-aware, so they can stay effective while learning and growing and helping others reach their own potential. By participating in this one-of-a-kind accredited coaching program, they are equipped with the skills and the mindset necessary to thrive as you lead.
