Have you been diagnosed with the early stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD)?

Or perhaps you have other health conditions that put you at risk for kidney disease? CKD affects one in every seven adults living in the United States. While the early stages of this chronic disease may have no signs or symptoms, it’s important to take action to slow the progress of this condition.

By better managing other conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, you can also improve your kidney care. Making a few changes to your food and nutrition routine can help slow the advance of this condition. Join us for a two-part class to understand kidney function, CKD disease stages and testing, and how nutrition can affect CKD. By learning more about this condition, you can take action now to prevent it from worsening and avoid complications to your kidney health and, overall health in the future.

This class is available to UC Davis Health members only.
