The In Charge and In Control diabetes class series covers all aspects of diabetes care and is recognized by the American Diabetes Association. The series meets the national standards for diabetes self-management education. We encourage you to take all the classes to build a strong foundation for your diabetes care. Many of our classes are led by Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists to provide you the most up-to-date information available.
By becoming a self-manager of your diabetes, you can learn ways to control your blood sugar by understanding the impact of your food choices, level of physical activity, medication use, stress reduction and more.
Topics include the importance of nutrition, physical activity, and weight management for a healthy lifestyle. This class is ideal for anyone who may be overweight and/or have a family history of diabetes.

RN Individual Diabetes Education is a personalized appointment with an RN/Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. This program offers care tailored to your needs and support for your overall healthy and emotional well-being. Services include technology resources, self-monitoring strategies, medication management (including pills or insulin) and other diabetes topics.
