Diabetes classes

According to the American Diabetes Association, nearly half of all American adults have diabetes or prediabetes. While diabetes is a chronic and progressive condition, you can take charge of your health today to avoid future complications.

The In Charge and In Control diabetes class series covers all aspects of diabetes care and is recognized by the American Diabetes Association. The series meets the national standards for diabetes self-management education. We encourage you to take all the classes to build a strong foundation for your diabetes care. Many of our classes are led by Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists to provide you the most up-to-date information available.

By becoming a self-manager of your diabetes, you can learn ways to control your blood sugar by understanding the impact of your food choices, level of physical activity, medication use, stress reduction and more.
