Are you a certified nurse?
We would love to hear from you! Certified Nurses Day is on March 19 and the Professional Development Council is looking to highlight certified nurses.
Having a specialty certification demonstrates your hard work and dedication to your profession and your patients. We would like to take this time to celebrate you.
Submissions* should be no longer than a paragraph (3-5 sentences) and include the following information:
- Name, degree, certifications
- A photo
- Position and practice area
- Specialty certification (not required for role, ex. ACLS)
- Answer to one or more of the questions below:
- What is your “why” for becoming certified?
- How does obtaining a specialty certification enhance your confidence and autonomy in your practice?
- How does having a specialty certification improve the quality of patient care?
- How does having a specialty certification affect teamwork or collaboration in your practice setting?
