Reminder: 2nd Avenue and 45th Street closure begins Nov. 4

The corner of 2nd Avenue and 45th Street will be closed Monday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Dec. 18. The previously announced closure start date was Oct. 30.
This is a 24/7 closure to prepare for future signaling at this intersection. They will complete road widening, concrete work, paving and striping.

Please note the following details of this activity:
2nd Avenue lanes will be reduced to one lane, eastbound only.
Westbound traffic will be re-routed to 48th Street to X Street.
45th Street will be closed between Y Street and 2nd Avenue.
Lot 12 will remain accessible via Y Street and 2nd Avenue.
Pedestrian crosswalk will still be available on 2nd Avenue.
