Construction activity: Concrete drilling in SESP Basement

Monday, August 3, through Friday, August 7, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. the California Tower project team will begin concrete drilling in the SESP basement as part of the construction of the new connection between the SESP and the California Tower.
Areas of most noise concern on Level 1.
What to Expect:
Concrete drilling will generate intermittent loud noise and building vibrations throughout the workday.
Noise and vibration may be experienced on Levels 0 through 4 of the SESP, with varying intensity depending on the work location.
The work has been planned and engineered to remain within acceptable vibration limits for the building.
Hearing protection has been provided to staff and patients in areas identified as most likely to be affected.
