Construction activity: Fire alarm tests in SESP Pavilion Level 1

The California Tower team will be conducting fire alarm tests on Level 1 of the Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion (SESP) Tuesday, Jan. 21, through Thursday, Jan. 30.

Please note the details of this activity:

• Due to the installation of heat detectors, it is necessary to perform a test of the fire alarm system. 

• Strobes will light up, chimes will sound in patient rooms and voice evacuation notice will be heard over the PA system.

• The tests will be performed between approximately 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. 

• Should any further testing be required, we will provide an updated notice.
