National Pet Day big reveal is here
Caution – heartrate may elevate from cuteness overload
April 11 has arrived, and you know what that means – it’s National Pet Day.
A special thanks to all our faculty, students, residents and staff for sharing adorable pictures of their favorite furry, fluffy, feathery and scaled pets. The Public Affairs and Marketing team received more than 35 photos. Be prepared for cuteness overload.
Here’s what some colleagues shared about their pets, and what they mean to them:
"June and I moved into our first house this year! She spends her days lounging on the couch, judging my TV choices, and indulging in only the finest overpriced snacks. I, meanwhile, work tirelessly to fund her lavish lifestyle." – Maya Spiteri, project policy analyst
"I call my dog Tootsie for short. She is the sweetest, chunkiest, cutest little peanut. What I adore about Tootsie is that she will turn herself in when she's done something naughty. She'll run up to me, sit on her booty, throw her paws in the air, and then try to give me a kiss, as if to say, ‘I'm sorry.’ I'll look at her and say, 'what did you do?' It's impossible to stay mad at her with that sweet face." – Nicole Sterrett, marketing administrative assistant
