Peet’s Coffee & Tea pricing adjustment on campus

Last year, in response to significant inflation pressures and after several years of maintaining steady cafeteria prices, we had to increase the prices of some food and beverage products on the Sacramento campus. Shortly after we brought coffee prices in line last year, Peet’s Coffee & Tea increased prices again due to market conditions and rising production costs. After a recent analysis of Peet’s new prices, we have determined that our current prices remain well below the market average again.

• Beginning Monday, July 15, 2024, we will adjust the prices of Peet’s Coffee & Tea products to align with the current market rates.
• On average, prices for Peet’s products on the Sacramento campus will increase by 7%.
• Just so you know, while some items will see increases above 7%, others will be lower.

We understand that this adjustment may be inconvenient for some. However, we have carefully considered this decision and believe it is necessary to maintain the quality of our coffee and services. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we navigate these changes.
