Photos: Ethics and Compliance Week’s ‘Ethics in Action’

(SACRAMENTO)

Earlier this fall, the Ethics and Compliance team held its annual “Ethics and Compliance Week.” The week, beginning Nov. 3 and themed “Ethics in Action,” included games, giveaways, virtual lunch and learns, and more!

“Ethics & Compliance Week serves as an opportunity to create staff engagement on compliance-related issues. It also is a time to engage in some fun,” said Enriqueta Hazen, senior ethic and compliance analyst. “Thank you to our UC Davis Health staff and students who showed up to demonstrate Ethics in Action at this year’s Ethics & Compliance Week events. Your participation was a true demonstration of your commitment to Ethics in Action.”

The event brought together team members from the Workplace Violence Prevention program, Government and Regulatory Affairs, Cybersecurity, the UC Davis Police Department’s CORE Program, and Disability Management Services. Even Cali, the UC Davis Police Department CORE K9, and her handler, Officer Rob Sotelo, made an honorary appearance to spread the importance of Ethics and Compliance Week!

Staff had an opportunity to spin wheels for prizes, to go “phishing” and to assess their knowledge of compliance-related issues for a chance to be entered into a drawing for a gift card or a café voucher.
