The 48X Complex will open in two separate phases. The first phase will open Floors 1 and 2 on July 1, 2025, while the second will open Floors 3 and 4 on Jan. 12, 2026.

Phase 1 includes the following departments:

• Floor 1: Extended Recovery Unit, Retail Pharmacy, Sterile Processing Department, Nourish Café, Phlebotomy, Diagnostic Imaging
• Floor 2: Pre-Op/PACU, OR, Interventional Radiology, Compound Pharmacy, Pathology/Frozen Section

The clinics on Floors 3 and 4 of the 48X Complex will stagger openings beginning in January to ensure successful openings and adequate IT support.

Phase 2 includes the following clinics:

• Floor 3: Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Transplant, Surgery
• Floor 4: Urology, Vascular, Wound Management, Surgery

Below is the expected timeline from the beginning of Phase 2 until the first day for patients. Phase 2 will begin with Orthopedics opening on Jan. 12, 2026, and end with Wound and Vascular opening on March 23, 2026.

Building Support Services, which include EVS, environmental health and safety, supply change, IT, clinical engineering, PO&M, and distribution, will be available for both openings and will continue to support 48X operations after the openings.
