Portion of Lot 16 reopening to add 72 additional parking spaces

Parking Services has been working to reopen Parking Lot 16, which was closed in 2020 for Aggie Square construction.

As Aggie Square reduces its construction footprint, Parking Services is reinstating the lots for employee parking. The portion of Lot 16 will provide an initial 72 B-permit spaces for employees, beginning on Monday, Feb. 3.

This map shows the available parking in Lot 16; The red section is under construction and remains closed while the yellow area is open to employee permitted parking.

In December, the expansion of a contractor lot added 42 parking stalls. Parking and Transportation anticipates opening another 75-100 parking stalls in May or June 2025.
